Blue Trail Tor
Just to the west of Deal Copse Tor can be found a rather scruffy looking granite outcrop, propped up against trees and bracken, all of which is seen from the Blue Trail from which the tor gets its name. It can be seen on the right immediately after passing Deal Copse Tor, though in summer this outcrop is somewhat obscured.
But what can be seen from the trail is only a small portion of the tor as by leaving the path it can be seen continuing uphill where the bracken peters out, leaving a rather impressive small tor draped with ivy and decorated with moss on the steep slope.
That said, in order not to disturb wildlife, it is advised by the woodland park that you don't stray from the marked footpaths.
