This tor is a small but nonetheless distinctive outlier of the main Leeden Tor group well down to the west.
It forms a tall isolated and compact pile with good horizontal jointings in the granite face.
The outcrop here gives rise to a fine clitter field below that is worthy of a separate status to the more impressive and notable piles on high.
