A conspicuous landmark on this side of the moor, Little Mis Tor is easily accessible from the Four Winds car park to the south, on a track. Recorded as 'Wain Tor' by Crossing.
With Great Mis Tor dominating the scene, this tor still affords a wonderful view, and its outcrops are pleasing to the eye, from some angles appearing to almost topple backwards.
There is also a memorial cross on the tor, for Chris Swanson. He died in an accident at work in 1980 and was a Dartmoor Guide, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Assessor, and Shipwright and Rigger in Devonport Dockyard. The memorial reads 'To /Chris Swanson/ 1980/ always here'.
